A Celebration of Life Service for Thomas "Tommy" Colson, 53, of Cadiz, formerly of Pekin, Ill. will be held from 2-7 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Roy L. King VFW, located at 15665 VFW Road, Pekin, Ill. 61554. King's Funeral Home of Cadiz is in charge of the arrangements.
Thomas "Tommy" Colson passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017.
He was born April 28, 1963 in Peoria, Ill. to Margy Kay Goodin Kemper and the late Thomas Robert Colson.
He was a general contractor an AMA National No. 82 Professional Flat Track Motorcycle Racer, of the Christian faith and currently attending the West Kentucky Technical and Community College in Paducah to obtain a business degree.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Stephanie Michelle Colson Hawkins.
Thomas "Tommy" Colson is survived by his mother and step father, Margy Kay Goodin Kemper (David), Fuquay Varina, N.C.; his sons, Robert Colson, Florida, and Christopher Sumner and Thomas Jeremiah Colson, both of Wisconsin; daughters, Stephanie Colson, Florida, and Barbara Colson of Feagin, Fla.; sisters, Sandra Colson and Tammi Valliant, both of Wisconsin, and Jennifer Brewster of Cadiz; nephew, Charland Hawkins of Katy, Texas; and seven grandchildren.
