Arrowcats sweep Graves tournament

The Trigg County Arrowcats took home first place honors, winning their second consecutive tournament Saturday at Graves County. The Arrowcats earned top spots in each division, shooting 3,440 at the high school level to top second place finisher Marshall County by 146 points. Middle school archers earned a team first place finish with a total score of 3,326, edging out second place Graves County by 45 points. Elementary level archers took top honors, as well, shooting a total of 3,021, taking second place Farmington by 54 points.

High school Arrowcat Jeffery Ross earned overall best male in the competition with a score of 297. Middle school Arrowcat Kara Southwood shot 291, which earned her overall best female score in Saturday's event.

The Arrowcats return to competition Saturday, Feb. 18 at Murray High School.
