The Trigg County Wildcat powerlifting team competed in the third annual Border Brawl Bench/Clean meet Friday at Hopkinsville High School.
The Wildcats dominated the meet and took home first place with 74 points. Hopkinsville came in second with 51 points and Central Hardin won third place with 50 points.
The Trigg County Middle school competitors also won first place as a team in the middle school division.
Along with the team trophy, there were many individual medals awarded by weight class.
In the 125 pound weight class, Jaquellas Martin won second place and Dawson Ryan brought home third place.
In the 135 pound weight class, Tayshaun Barker brought home second place.
In the 165 weight class, Ahmad Alexander brought home second place.
Zach McIntosh brought home first place in the 175 pound weight class.
Freddy McFarland and Tyson Bush received second and third place in the 205 pound weight class.
In the 220 pound weight class, Kyler Bohn earned first place.
D'Avian Phillips brought home second place in the heavy weight division.
Phillips also won a special award for most outstanding bench press, with a 330-pound bench press.
The Wildcats will compete at the state powerlifting meet in March.
